Description
Cortona and Arezzo are two of Tuscany’s smaller scenic hilltop towns. These are locations where you can immerse yourself in Tuscan architecture, art and cuisine. ‘Under the Tuscan Sun’, filmed in and around Cortona, and ‘Life is Beautiful’ , filmed in Arezzo, both capture and reflect the beauty of this area.
The first stop will be Arezzo. Enjoy a morning in the historic centre, the medieval Church of San Franceso, with its marvellous Frescoes, and the Cathedral, which boasts magnificent stained glass. From here, just before midday, we’ll drive to Cortona where you can indulge in a tasty traditional lunch and have time to absorb all that this lovely town has to offer.
