Description
In the morning you will visit to a Parmigiano Reggiano factory where you can see the interesting transformation process from milk to the branded wheels of cheese that are aged for at least 24 months to achieve their top quality. At the end of your tour you may enjoy a tasting of the cheese, perhaps accompanied by honey, prosciutto di Parma and some local wine.
In the afternoon there will be a lunch stop and then a tour at one of the traditional producers of Modena’s Balsamic vinegar, where you can learn about the history of, observe the preparation process and taste various qualities (aged anywhere from 3 to 100 years) of this dark robust syrupy vinegar, known as “black gold” and other locally produced specialties.
Nearby is our last stop, the Panini Motor Museum, home to one of the biggest vintage collections of Maserati cars in the world. The Liberty-style room of the museum is beautiful and you’ll have time to see an absolutely fantastic collection of motorcycles and bikes and over one hundred cars.
